To find your Chinese zodiac birthsign (important to discover prospects for marital happiness) first find the year you were born. Go along the row to the left and discover your lucky sign. For instance, if you were born in 1967, you belong to the Sign of the Sheep. Sheep are guaranteed wedded bliss when paired with Boars, or so the ancient wisdom tells us...

What month and day were you born?
(Your birthday is how many months,

How old are you?

Older Chinese probably fib about their age just as much as Americans do, but if someone asks you your age, whatever you do, don't say:

三十二. Wǒ shì sānshíèr. I am thirty-two (thirty-two whats?)

This doesn't make any sense in Chinese. Instead, say:

你三十二歲. Wǒ sānshíèr suì.

I am thirty-two (I thirty-two years).
